May Day Bank Holiday Payments
Thursday 1st May 2025 is a Bank Holiday in many Euro SEPA countries (it is a normal banking day in Ireland).
As a result of this the European Payment System will be closed. This will mean that all EURO electronic payments (both incoming credit transfers/Incoming and outgoing DDs and outgoing EFTs) due to be processed on Thursday 1st May will not be credited/debited from/to accounts until Friday 2nd May 2025.
South Dublin Credit Union Ltd is open for business on Thursday 1st May, however there will be no incoming files sent to SDCU on 1st May (Direct Debits/CT payments) and any outgoing files forwarded by us (EFTs) sent after 1pm on Wednesday 30th April will not reach members bank accounts until the morning of Friday 2nd May 2025.
